The Heist
A medium-confrontation non-elimination game for 5-7 players on WhatsApp. Inspired by Ocean's Eleven, cooperative games with a hidden traitor.
“We're all working together... but something keeps going wrong.”
The Concept
The group is a crew planning and executing a fictional heist. Each player has a specialized role (Hacker, Grifter, Driver, etc.). Together you face challenges across 5 days: Reconnaissance → Planning → Preparation → Execution → Aftermath. But one player is The Informant.
How It Works
Everything happens on WhatsApp — the group chat is your game room, and private DMs with the host are where you make your secret moves. Each step has a multi-hour window so no one needs to be online at the same time.
- 1Each player gets a specialist role (Mastermind, Hacker, Grifter, Driver, Lookout)
- 2Day 1: Gather intel fragments and piece together the picture
- 3Day 2: Vote on the heist plan (3 options with different risks)
- 4Day 3: Complete individual preparation tasks
- 5Day 4: Execute the heist in 3 stages — volunteers step up
- 6Day 5: Vote on who The Informant is. Scoring based on heist outcome + detection
